Our Story:

Refuel Australia is a major fuel distributor in the region with over 40 years of successful history. We are a trusted Ampol distributor of quality fuel in the Pilbara, Midwest, Gascoyne, and Murchison regions of Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Originally known as Geraldton Fuel Company Pty Ltd, the business was bought by Ian & Monique Burrows in June 2000. It was renamed Refuel Australia in 2016 as we expanded into the Pilbara and Kimberley regions of WA and later into the Northern Territory. In 2018, the company expanded into roadhouses and currently operates five sites, with plans to increase this number in the near future.

We run a large modern fleet of trucks and tankers, delivering more than 200 million litres of fuel per annum to customers throughout WA, from Perth across to Kalgoorlie and north up to the Kimberleys.

Above, we have a colossal truck that measures 53.5 metres in length. The length of this truck is the maximum allowed for this specific truck configuration. A single load of this truck might cater to up to eight different customers, delivering to service stations, mine sites, retail customers, and basically any company needing fuel. It even has custom-built trailers fit for these stringent specifications. Most places we go to have dirt haul roads. One particular run was 2,100 km of some of the roughest terrains near Lake Mackay, close to the NT border.
